Rules and Guidelines as of February 13, 2020

In order to keep the posters on the site nice and clean, users must follow the Rules and Guidelines when making an upload. At times, an admin or moderator make take respective action if a poser fails to follow the items listed below.

  1. Credit
    1. When uploading a poster using assets/items found online, proper attribution for those assets/items must be given or the poster will be subject to being recycled
    2. Posters marked as Original Content (OC) but found not to be will be subject to being recycled (a ban will also be considered)
  2. Online Posters
    1. Posters blindly uploaded from online sources, including The Poster Database, without prior consent, differentiation, or credit are subject to being recycled
  3. Visible Artifacts
    1. Images found to have visible artifacts (as listed below) are subject to being recycled without notice
      1. Corrupt pixels
      2. Smudged details
      3. Stretching/shrinking
      4. Image assets should be clear and legible
      5. Visual shape used to block poster elements
  4. Spelling Errors
    1. An admin or moderator will do their best to reach out and contact the user that has made a mistake - in the mean time, the poster may be recycled until a correction can be made
  5. Collage Poster
    1. An uploaded posters that encompasses more than one poster into one making a collage will be subject to being recycled without notice
  6. NSFW (Not Safe For Work)/18+/Adult Posters
    1. Currently there isn't proper support for these items in place. With that, any poster that is deemed to be of the NSFW nature will be recycled without notice
  7. Unmarked Template Posers
    1. Posters found to have used a template generator with out proper tagging (marked as using a template generator) of such may be subject to being marked as using a template
  8. Poster Banners
    1. Posters found to have banners (4K, BluRay, DVD, etc..) or items similar will be subject to being recycled without notice
