A lone trader on foot, leading a mule carrying his wares. He warns the party of a group of men hiding in ambush at the bridge a quarter mile up the road and how they had let him go because he has nothing of value. While there is a bridge down the road there are no thieves hiding in ambush. The man is simply a liar and tells tales for laughs.
