During the reign of the ninth shogun, Iemasa, within the inner chambers of Edo Castle's Ooku, gathered a multitude of women numbering into the thousands. Among them was O-Iku, favored by Iemasa and blessed with the role of bearing his heir. However, as she ascends into the Ooku, mysteries unfold within the feared "Uji no Ma," where maidservants meet untimely deaths. A period drama steeped in tales of female obsession and grudges!
